My first book, published in January 2019 by OUP, is entitled “Combining Minds: How to Think about Composite Subjectivity”. It’s about the idea of minds built up out of other minds, whether this is possible, and what it would mean if it were.
I’ve put sample materials from the book here – chapters 3 and 7, the introduction and conclusion chapters, and abstracts of the other chapters. All of this is preprint material, not the official published version, which is available from Oxford University Press. I can share additional material privately for personal use upon request.
I also have a post on the iCog blog where I discuss my work, with particular reference to the split-brain phenomenon. After it came out I blogged about the book at Brainsblog here and at the Daily Ant here.
